Lauren Charnley

The firm of MacLaren Britton is a medium-sized approachable solicitors practice which provides a range of legal services to businesses and private clients throughout the United Kingdom. The firm was founded in 1975 by Duncan MacLaren under the name or style of Cruickshank Bird and MacLaren. Following various partnership changes, Duncan was joined as a Partner by Stephen Britton in 1994 and, in 1997, the firm name was changed to MacLaren Britton to reflect the identity of the equity Partners. In April 2009 Evelyn Ford and Melissa Jane Crow joined the partnership. MacLaren Britton is a traditional firm that puts enormous value on quality of service and is proud to state that it has held Lexcel Accreditation since the 21st January 2002.

Lauren Charnley is a  solicitor at MacLaren Britton Solicitors. She specialises in Commercial and Civil Litigation and works with a number of local companies and individuals advising them on company debts, contractual issues, landlord and tenant issues and general dispute resolution. She completed her training contract in  Cornwall and moved to Nottingham in 2003 where she worked for Nelsons solicitors for a number of years before joining MacLaren Britton.

Outside of work Lauren teaches yoga. She completed her teacher training course in Byron Bay Australia in 2008 and since then has been teaching part time in the evenings.
